This was such an amazing game. What's more terrifying than the things that can (and commonly do) happen in real life? I love this idea and episode one was above and beyond fantastic. I can't wait for more episodes, I will gladly pay for them!
Hey fun game it got me good... twice actually lol. The game was well put together and definitely made you feel like you were part of the story. Here's a little video I put together for everybody. If you enjoyed the video please consider supporting me by subscribing :)
The game has a lot of collision issues. I got teleported into the railing of the stairs a few times, and into Miles' bedroom once. Everything felt very jittery. The game looked way better on the lowest graphics setting compared to the highest. I didn't know if I could even avoid the jumpscare until almost an hour of testing.
I write this after my first attempt at this game, because before i start my next attempt, I just wanted to do a glitch report. I sat down to eat my sweet lasag, and while watching the TV, the sound of eating was very creepy and made me feel the silence of the house. and then it wouldnt stop. for the rest of the game. the character was chewing the whole time to the point that it grossed me out and also distracted me from the stellar sound design.
To say I couldn't directly look at this game while playing it because of how frightened I was to play it is the absolute truth! Jumps scares that actually scared me! Cannot wait for further episodes! great game! :)
Was an absolutely amazing game and was made immaculately! The reddit-like narration and comedy of it was brilliant and super fun to experience and the atmosphere that was made was so scary and really was impactful and super terrifying and indulging. The scares themselves were super scary not only because the ambiance and environment was amazing and really gripping, but also because they were a unexpected (at first) and also well done! The whole story was great and fun to play as well as be in and really was such a great game! SO much effort went into this and it really does show. Amazing game and cannot wait for more! Well done and good luck!
I really like the concept of this game! I actually enjoyed the game more than I thought I would. Looking forward to the other episodes! Keep up the good work :D
Version 1.1.2 have some troubles with a sound. No sound in a game, but after alt+tab i hear sound. After return to a game window, i hear no sound again.
I tried again last night and actually found a solution - or a reason at least. I'm using a Sony bluetooth headset that installs 2 output devices on a computer, the headset one (which is connected to the mic) and "stereo" one. When I start Fears to Fathom a Windows tray icon tells me that the game uses the mic (for some reason?), which means it also outputs any sound through the headset device. Meaning, if you still have the "stereo" one set as your main output device, you're not getting any sound. I changed my main outpout device to the headset one and then it worked fine. Maybe it's similar in your case?
Oh! Yes! I did it in another game having same problem! But forgot about. Thank you for freshing my memory. Now I think, that's was a solution. I used bluetooth headset too. Windows uses first device for mobile (or another conversation) connection, and second device for sound as a default. Another comp has only speakers. But what for the game uses a mic? Maybe this is a developer's issue.
This was a fantastic experience! It didn't use jump scares but solely relied on the atmosphere and storytelling to create such an unique horror experience! Looking forward to the upcoming episodes! Keep up the great work!
This game was Fantastic! kept me interested the whole game!I loved the photo-realistic look and the VHS style! this game is a must play! AND there is going to be more! this game was able to scare me ONE time! that is pretty good! keep up the good work! :) here is my play through!
This is very good! I really love horror games that are based on reality rather than paranormal elements. The VHS effect is subtle and well-done too, because I can't stand VHS effects that are too aggressive. Would really love to see another game based on the idea of everyday horror.

The same problem in 1.1.1. It is impossible to play without a sound. I don't know what's wrong with my system..
same here! did you find a solution?
I think, something wrong with my computer. I successfully played a game on another machine.

I waited the guy/girl out. No one is that patient

my camera is spinning is that the game or nah?
I haven't played this game and I ALREADY like the VHS filter with the use of modern technology. A clash of two different generations.

had great fun with this one <3
Who would have thought my biggest issue in a horror game would be figuring out how to cook a lasagna...
Episode 2 is gonna be lit ong
This was amazing! It was really creative in places, and I loved the way it looks
I enjoyed it! was actually pretty psychological, looking forward to the next episode :)
(also fyi for anyone else who might wanna do a video on this, the TV's music is copyrigthed, if your worried about that)
